alkemia - autumnal charms and curiosities sample set

wicked charms: sickly sweet on its own, syrupy and sticky in a nauseating way. idk why my brain just immediately says purple when i smell this. (???) BUT wearing it with hell courtesan cancels out the sweetness and balances both scents quite well.

incantation cacao: not a fan of chocolate scents as they always smell like those fake chocolate scented erasers you'd get at a bookfair. this is no different... sorryyyy

cabinet of curiosities: i winced smelling this at first ??????? but let it settle and i'm enjoying it more now. exceptionally sharp, dusty and old book smelling but in a good way. very heavy on the incense at first

le chat noir: based on the description of this scent i was almost sure this was going to be an immediate no for me but i actually like it a lot. really sharp and piney for some reason, citrusy grass scent with a sweeter note on the skin after a few minutes. really dont associate this with like a 'feline' scent like it says on alkemias website. quite powdery afterwards though in a way i don't love

night sky scattering poems: something about this scent scares me and not in a good way and it Kind of smells like cat pee sorry

hell courtesan: another one very heavy on the incense initially but quite comforting. smoky and spiced and kind of a better version of cabinet of curiosities. again wicked charms balances this scent out really well if the incense is too strong to wear out in public

fall cashmere

generic fall scent but not in a bad way at all. could use less powdery notes but one i wouldn't mind buying a full bottle of.

lavande 31

sharp, citrusy, almost like cleaning solution but i love it. after a few hours theres a subtler lavender that lingers and a powder that i actually don't hate. i bought this because someone said its a lavender that doesn't smell like generic cleaning product lavender and um. well it does but its like an elevated version of that kind of lavender. good spring scent, and really comforting to wear to bed

himalayan jasmine serenade

just kind of okay. inoffensively floral, generic, and a little too bath and body works for me. got as a free sample so i wont complain too much.
