hello again & happy new year! :]

i always get excited towards this time of year because i get to buy a new hobonichi - literally my favorite planner of all time and one of the only planners ive actually maintained use of over the years rather than abandoning it after the first week. i have been head over heels in love with these for years now and i hope to have a whole bookshelf worth of them by the time im a pile of bones... they're incredibly charming and i carry mine just about everywhere i go.

year number 5... lets go

i put a ton of random crap into these and they end up becoming massive by the end of the year. ticket stubs, pictures, art, stamps, stickers, post-its, receipts, buisness cards, flyers... you name it, i've glued it in!

i don't like showing my pages as they have a lot of personal stuff written on them, but a few don't have words so i don't mind showing them.

i normally get the a6 size planner for the purposes described above, but within the last year or so i've had less and less time to spend making pretty pages and i've devolved to using a cheap ball point pen to jot down a quick to-do list and some short sentences about my day. lucky for me, the hobonichi weeks decided to release in english this year!

the weeks is a considerably more compact planner compared to the a6 and a5(especially the a5), and it has a page dedicated to each week rather than each day. i've been using it for the past few weeks(hehe) and i actually love it more than the a6, which was a surprise for me! i think i've lost the energy to keep up with huge daily pages this year, but thats alright. i may get more inspiration next year, or maybe not. its no big deal.

if you've got some time to kill, take a look at the hobonichi website, too! its pretty cute. they also have a handy comparison guide that shows the differences between all the planners they sell.

thats all for now! until next time...
